ESTELLA LORETTO'S "Peaceful Warrior's Prayer" stands 10 feet without a base (Previously shown only in clay). The bronze sculpture is now available for viewing. The Peaceful Warrior's prayer is that we can respect each other and our differences and create harmony together.

Estella's work has always reflected her highly internalized spiritual vision of the world, an intimate legacy of her Pueblo background. That tradition is to manifest in her artistic creations, allowing her 'to work from the inside out,' to blend beauty, compassion and spirituality within all her creations. Above all, her creative representations are instinctive and inherent symbols of serenity, tranquility, and they promote an environment of healing.

Estella was personally very moved and later inspired by the tragedy of 911. 14 Medicine Men and spiritual leaders from her village, the Pueblo of Jemez here in northern New Mexico, were among the first to be invited to begin the healing process at Ground Zero. Estella felt as a Native woman sculptor, a responsibility that somehow she could contribute towards the healing process by creating the sculpture of a Medicine Man. The "Peaceful Warrior's Prayer" was conceived at the end of 2001. Estella has been been working on this project for 4 years while continuing her work on other commissions until its recent completion on June 25, 2005. This has been her largest project of her career and she is very pleased with the sculpture.

The "Peaceful Warrior's Prayer" is a very strong spiritual statement that promotes compassion, love and healing. Subliminally conveying sacred messages and teachings of our ancient people. He is very peaceful, yet strong. It would be wonderful and fitting to see "Peaceful Warrior's Prayer" bringing together people of all backgrounds, planting prayers for harmony, balance and peace.

The "Peaceful Warrior's Prayer" is standing on a temporary steel base at 11 feet tall. The base can be changed which would make the piece stand 14 to 15 feet tall . The sculpture itself is 10 feet tall and weighs 750 pounds. Currently this is the first edition of seven.
